Residents of Comunidad Campesina Kuñotambo in the Peruvian Andes celebrate the reopening of their church after 10 years of conservation work.

This conservation project, a partnership between the Getty Conservation Institute and the Dirección Desconcentrada de Cultura de Cusco in Peru, developed new technologies and techniques to preserve earthen buildings across Latin America.
